Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, The Iron Man

Here goes a quick caricature study of Robert Downey Jr. in the role of Tony Stark of Marvel Comics Iron-Man comics.  So far Robert Downey has played Iron-Man in 3 Iron-Man films, The Avengers 1 & 2, Captain America Civil war, and several cameo appearances in other Marvel Movies.  I decided to leave this one loose and unfinished, just because I liked the way it looked this way and felt like it was done for now.  Thanks for stopping by, Enjoy !!!!!

Spawn

I recently completed this Spawn commission piece for a friend and fellow tattoo artist (huge Spawn fan).  For those that may not know, Spawn is a fictional character, an anti-hero that appears in a monthly comic book of the same name published by Image Comics as well as annual compilations, mini-series specials written by guest authors and artists and numerous cross-over story-lines in other comic books. Created by writer/artist Todd McFarlane, the character first appeared in Spawn #1 (May 1992). Spawn was ranked 60th on Wizard magazine's list of the Top 200 Comic Book Characters of All Time, 50th on Empire magazine's list of The 50 Greatest Comic Book Characters and 36th on IGN's 2011 Top 100 Comic Book Heroes.  I believe I have the first 50 or so issues all bagged and boarded and then a bunch of other issues that I picked up throughout the years. Being a fan myself (not as big of a fan as my friend), this was a fun project for me to work on.  Below is the finished piece followed by a few progress shots. My book is finally done. It was alot of fun to work on, but along the way everything that could go wrong did. My main PC did not power up anymore, my external hard drives seem to not be working ( this had all the back ups) you name it. Still I pushed through and am very proud of the outcome. I own a ton of art books, so I feel mine is a bit unique because I have not seen an art book with so much different subject matter and styles all done by one artist. usually books like this will be published with various artist contributing. Captain Japan

This was done for a new Weekly Sketch group started by myself and The owner of Soul Interface Studios, Dylan Brough. Dylan hired me to do some freelance work for his company in the past and recently approached me about starting up the group. This week's topic was to do a remake of Captain America as if he were from another country. Here is my contribution; Captain Japan. I imagine he would use his conical hat like Captain America's shield. The Kanji stands for (from top to bottom) Honesty and Justice, Heroic Courage, Compassion, right action, courtesy, Truthfulness, Honor and Glory, Duty and loyalty. All things the Captain Japan fights for. lol

Starring Sonya Devereaux

So Starting with issue #2,I will be doing the coloring on the comic series Starring Sonya Devereax.
A spin-off from the comic America Jr.
STARRING SONYA DEVEREAUX adapts, in comic book form, each film in the career of fictional B-movie actress and scream queen Sonya Devereaux. No budget is too low, no dialog too cheesy and no plotline too thin to keep Sonya from appearing in these straight to DVD flicks. From horror -- to action -- to erotic thriller, each issue is a laugh-filled send up of a different genre and movie -- but they all have one thing in common: Sonya Devereaux and FUN! Okay, that's two things. But just like gravy on mashed potatoes is delicious, Sonya in a crappy movie is hilarious!

Welcome to My Blog. I finally decided to give in and start one of my own. Anyone that knows me ,knows that I am a sketchaholic.
