So it has been awhile since my last post, but I have been busy as ever with art. Here are a few paintings I created recently. A war in the boxing ring followed by some natural born predators :) You can purchase a print of the Snow kitty HERE. Thanks for stopping by, Enjoy !!!!!

MegaMind, Despicable Me, Rio and some random art stuff
Bout time I dump some more art on this blog:) Here are some thumbnail composition studies from animated movies: Rio, Megamind, and despicable Me. I love doing these little thumbs, I find them fun and always feel I learn a bunch when I do them.
next is another bird study from a photo I took at the Birmingham Zoo a few weeks ago:) This guy looks like something from pre-history.
And last, some really cool experiments that I intend on painting over and turning into something more concrete very soon. They were generated using Silk Interactive generative art. Once you start messing around with it, it gets addictive. Very fun, check it out, here. Thanks for stopping by:) Enjoy!!!!

Some more craziness floating through my head
Another sketchbook page. I took some of the loose ballpoint pen sketches that I drew at the zoo last year, and added some characterization to them...

and there's nothing like some sci-fi fishes to make a sketchbook pop...

Some more scribbles
Here are some really rough sketches done in my hard cover sketchbooks with ball point pen and brush markers. When I sketch this way I try not to spend too much time on the sketches. Just a few minutes a piece. I don't concentrate on making anything accurate or pretty, but instead just let my pen flow and move on to the next sketch. Some are done while out on the road, some while watching movies and others are sketches from fashion magazines. the point is to keep yourself drawing daily and getting ideas down quickly.
These first couple are from imagination, memory, and magazines...

These are some vehicle sketches done quickly while out running errands...

These character designs were inspired while watching Scarface and Carlitto's Way...

Dairy Of A Mad Black Women...

Tombstone...

And finally storyboard roughs for the opening sequence of The Davinci Code...
