More Graf
A graffiti graphic done for a t-shirt design for my online store. Inspired by a sketch done by graf artist Tasso and utilizing a sketch from an old sketchbook of mine that I stumbled on while cleaning out my bookshelf. I call this one the squeegee vandal.

Screamatorium
Here's another concept piece done for Todd livingston. The synopsis: SCREAMATORIUM
(horror)
You know what's a really sucky summer job? Working in a crematorium. You
know what's worse? When the spirit of a Satanist who was destroyed there
possesses you and uses you to take revenge on the people who convicted him.
You gotta love horror.

swaggy DA Post Apoc Bad Girl
A Post Apocalyptic chic with lots of swag. Somehow amidst the ruin and decay she still manages to be fashion forward with whatever she can piece together for gear. Inspired by the works of Japanese artist/ character designer Shunya Yamashita. The idea for the weapon came from various power tools. The clothes from various pics of Japanese kids in their street clothes (these kids have an amazing imagination), and the body by DARAF of course.

Pre-Production Poster concept
Here's a poster concept done for my good friend, Todd livingston of Accidental films. Todd's a real talented dude that wears many hats, comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, you name it. You can check out his credits on the IMDB site, here's the url: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0515303/
and here is the url for a wikipedia bio article on Todd: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Todd_Livingston
This project is called The 11th Power, I can't say much more than that, but I did have a great time designing characters and working on concept art. Todd and I will be collaborating on a bunch of other stuff in the near future, so stay tuned. For now here's a little teaser art:

Lucky Robot
I call this one Lucky no. 007. highly influenced by the works of Masamune Shirow and the Ghost in The Shell Movies. If you have not seen these flicks and your into Anime, do yourself a favor and check out part one and two on blue ray or dvd. I also recommend Shirows Intron Depot books, the full of awesome robots and pin-up girls.

Lions, tigers and Bears, Oh my
I hope everyone out there in cyber space had a safe and fun 4th of July weekend. I had to work on a few projects but I was able to enjoy time with my family and had plenty of Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and Beer while I worked. On Monday I took my grandson to the zoo, his first time. He just turned 1 about a month ago, so I knew he was at an age where he could enjoy what he was looking at. It was also a good opportunity for me to get some sketching done of live models for a change, instead of my usual sketching from picture reference. This was a great learning experience for me, I did not try to make the sketches look pretty by any means. I spend about a few seconds per sketch, just trying to capture quick gestures as the animals moved around. I got to fill up a ton of pages of my moleskine journal sketchbook (my favorite sketchbook for outdoor sketching of live subjects with a ball point pen). As I quickly sketched my subjects ,I could not help but humble myself and reflect on the beauty of GOD's creation. The Lord is truly the greatest concept artist of all time, in my book. So many variations of all the different species, it really is breath taking. Here are a few pics ( I am not the best photographer ) of some of my models and some gesture drawings from my sketchbook, and last but not least, a pic of the artist at work.
