Vampire

Here is a recent commission I did for a very talented actress who also happens to be my Big Sis. Here she is as a fan favorite creature of the night, a blood sucking Vampire. She may seem scary here, but she really is a sweetheart in real life. Here name is Elizabeth Rivera, you can check out her IMDB profile Here. Go show here page some love, and if your a Producer or Director in search of talent , hire her. Thanks for stopping by, Enjoy!!!!

jab, jab, WHAMMO!!! the art of Rafael Rivera a.k.a. DARAF

My book is finally done. It was alot of fun to work on, but along the way everything that could go wrong did. My main PC did not power up anymore, my external hard drives seem to not be working ( this had all the back ups) you name it. Still I pushed through and am very proud of the outcome. I own a ton of art books, so I feel mine is a bit unique because I have not seen an art book with so much different subject matter and styles all done by one artist. usually books like this will be published with various artist contributing. So with that said, you can flip through a few of the pages below to give you a preview and also click on the link (the icon that looks like a shopping cart) to purchase the book. It will make an excellent book for the artist or art lover in your life:) And remember: sharing is caring so please help spread the word in all of your social media circles. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy jab,jab WHAMMO!!! the art of Rafael Rivera

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton W.I.P.

Here is a work in progress shot of the Johnny Depp and Tim Burton caricature I am working on followed by some more Scribbler Too experiments. I think Johnny Depp and Tim Burton will end up being a series of studies for me. They have worked together on a number of movies that I enjoyed and I have a few reference pics that made it hard for me to decide which one I wanted to work on. I may as well do them all.

Purgatory Comics

This movie was tons of fun to work on. I worked with Director Ralph Suarez on production art for the film, the art on the comic book cover on the poster is mine along with a bunch of other comic book covers and such that show up throughout the film.
Purgatory Comics tells the story of a girl and a comic book store. Starring Angela Benedict, Bree Olson, Jonathan Zungre and Tim Kelly, Written and Directed by Ralph Suarez
