The Joker on a Honda Hood

A good friend of mine recently got my caricature of heath Ledger as the Joker on the hood of his car.  It's pretty cool to see my art this way, I think it looks great.  The guys that did the work are located in Birmingham, the company is called Sign Source and you can check out their website here.  My friend Shane is a talented musician that specializes in producing beats for just about any genre of music.  You can check him out on his facebook page, Hitman 205 Productions here.  Below are a few pics of the car hood with my painting next to it.  thanks for stopping by, Enjoy !!!!

FAN ART

So, I decided to dedicate my new Fabriano Artist Journal to stylized versions of my favorite cartoon, comic book, and movie characters. These sketchbooks are awesome, they come with multi-colored pages and the quality of the paper is top notch in my opinion. These are drawn using different colored prismacolor col-erase pencils, and inked with Esterbrook pen nibs, and a japanese brush pen. Drawing this way, really frees up my mind, and allows me to have fun exploiting shapes and mimicking a variety of art styles.
