Django Unchained Sketch
Here is a sketch study of Jamie Foxx as Django from Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained. This was meant to be a warm up study for a bigger piece I am working on. The finished caricature will be a full body shot, but I like to warm up with some quick studies of the actors face before I get started painting. I be posting the completed painting soon, but you can enjoy this one for now:) Thanks for stopping by!!!

Reservoir Dogs
From Wikipedia: Reservoir Dogs is a 1992 American crime film marking the debut of director and writer Quentin Tarantino. It depicts the events before and after a botched diamond heist, but not the heist itself. Reservoir Dogs stars an ensemble cast: Harvey Keitel, Steve Buscemi, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Chris Penn, and Lawrence Tierney. Tarantino has a minor role, as does criminal-turned-author Eddie Bunker. The film has become a classic of independent film and a cult hit. It was named "Greatest Independent Film of all Time" by Empire magazine. Reservoir Dogs was generally well received, and the cast was praised by many critics. Here is my caricature study of the cast done in monochrome with the actors given the color that matches their names in the movie, Mr. Blonde, Mr. Pink, Mr. White, Mr. Orange, Mr. Blue, and Mr. Brown. Caution Spoiler Alert for anyone who has never seen the film. lol: Mr. Orange is the only one with shades on for a reason;) " Clowns to the left of me, jokers on the right, here I am stuck in the middle with you".
